About the 20 Incher Stonefly Trout Fly
The 20 Incher Stonefly Pattern is a great attractor nymph and stone fly imitation.
It is one of the best “buggy” patterns that gets down to where the big, wary and wise river trout feed.
It is equally successful in the USA and Europe.
Expert Tip:
Stone flies have a full and strong body with large legs. The mottled partridge legs imitate the colouring on the naturals. Stone flies generally cling to the bottom, so the 20 Incher is ideally suited to be fished tumbling along on the bottom of the river bed.
Country of origin for this trout fly: Colordo, USA
This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs, Rivers & Streams, Still Water
