The first top 10 fly fishing chart of the year unsurprisingly shows a selection of popular Nymphs and Lures suitable for the winter months, with the Diawl Bach being the most popular nymph in the top spot.
The Apaches have been strong sellers all through winter, with a third pattern on the verge of selling out. We only have 3 White Apaches left on a strict first comes first served basis - so sorry if our checkout does not cope with any rush to snap up the remaining flies; we will of course contact you as soon as possible to confirm whether or not you have been successful in your purchase. And if you were not lucky enough, you can always contact us to reserve some within our next batch that we produce.
We also see two early season Salmon patterns in the chart, the classic Cascade which we tied on strong Japanese Ken Sawada hooks to handle those extra savage takes, and one of our favourites, the Large Dynamic Green Machine, in 5th and 8th position respectively.
Finally it's worth a mention about the Vladi Worm which hasn't even been on our radar, but with it's realistic latex body is certainly one to watch!
These trending flies show a great impression of what is happening on the water at the moment, and directly shows what patterns other fisherman are using to catch those fish!
We wish you the best of luck in the water, and make sure you upload your catch photos as we will be drawing the winner for next week's newsletter.
