About the Red Spinner Trout Fly
The Red Spinner was created by Harry Powell, a barber and fly tier in the 1920s.
It is an excellent dry fly representing the female March Brown and Autumn Dun and has proved to be extremely successful during the last 10 decades, and still counting.
Expert Tip:
Harry's haircuts may well be a thing of the past but fortunately but not his Red Spinner, which is still going strong today.
