About the UV Polar Bear Bronze Trout Fly
The UV Polar Bear Bronze is one of the very successful Polar Bear series of flies that will tempt trout on even the hardest of days.
The fly features a bronze-coloured body using UV tinsel, and has dumbbell eyes for added weight and realism. The shiny dumbbell and tinsel both make the Polar Bear Bronze highly visible, targeting trout and other game fish that are actively feeding on aquatic prey.
It is particularly effective on days when fish are being particularly fussy or when conditions are challenging.
Expert Tip:
Note that in real life, when these flies are grouped together in a packet, they look purple due to a thin purple flashing used alongside the bronze. However once separated and under certain lighting, the bronze colour becomes dominant as shown in the photo.
