Top Ten Flies for March 2018

You can tell that March has been a cold start to the Trout season, but nevertheless Salmon fishing has been highly active, with 5 of the 10 patterns appearing within the F4F Top 10 chart. This is a first, not only half of the flies being salmon, but pinching the top spots too!

Last week we received fresh stock for the Pearly Daddy's and John Storey's, both were out of stock and are high demand patterns, so it's no surprise of their appearance within the chart. We also have stocked another new pattern called the Simple Simon, so one to watch for later in the year.

If you are going fishing this bank holiday, then let's not forget the Orange Butcher and Gold Head Ribbed Hare's Ear; they are both good for conditions at present. (The Hare's Ear was the only pattern which appeared within last years chart!)

These trending flies show a great impression of what is happening on the water at the moment, and directly shows what patterns other fisherman are using to catch those fish! Please share if you know someone that would like this!
